Broadway

BroadwayA famous Cotswold beauty spot and popular throughout the year - as it name suggests, Broadway is dominated by a wide main street lined with shops, restaurants, hotels and plenty of antique shops. The Cotswold scarp runs down through the valley into the Evesham Vale. Broadway has attracted visitors from around the world for centuries and with its chocolate box looks you could be stepping onto a film set.

The Lygon ArmsAt the centre of Broadway is the famous Lygon Arms, a traditional inn, rich in history and charm. More than this, it has an enviable reputation for the finest cuisine and the best of 20th-century comforts. Why not have lunch here?

St Eadburgha's Church is tucked away on the Snowshill road, but worth finding.

BroadwayFish Hill provides the impressive back drop to Broadway and on top stands Broadway Tower, a 20m high folly, built by the Earl of Coventry in the 18th Century - from the tower spectacular views of 12 counties can be enjoyed.
