Following on from the success of Bristol Nightrider in 2016, the organisers are very excited to be coming back in 2017. Bristol is the UK's first cycling city, so it's a great choice for a Nightrider city. Anyone who did the ride in 2016 will tell you, it's a hilly one! There is no escaping the Bristol hills, but it makes for a tough, and fun, challenge.
New for 2017 there are two distances available - a 100km and a 50km ride. The ride is designed as two 50km loops with a centrally located start / break / finish point.
Full support, back up and regular break stops are provided throughout the night and a well-earned breakfast and medal at the finish.
There are two ways that you can register for Nightrider 2017 - they are:
OWN PLACE: pay the £99 full event cost and then raise as much sponsorship money as possible for any charity of your choice (limited number of places available).
CHARITY PLACE: pay a £39 registration fee and pledge to raise at least £175 sponsorship for one of the event's partner charities. Please note that the required minimum sponsorship target and deadline may vary depending on the charity – be sure to check before you register.
