British Dal Festival

About

***Due to the ongoing Covid-19 developments, the British Dal Festival has now been postponed until later in the year. Please check back for further updates shortly.***

The British Dal Festival will celebrate the magic of dal and similar pulse dishes from around the world in events across the UK from 21st-31st March 2020.

The Dal Trail will return throughout festival week, with restaurants and cafés around the UK putting a signature dal or pulse dish on their menu - we'll be featuring a list of the businesses taking part soon.

Dal Trail venues in Bristol:

- Bar 44, Clifton
- Cafe Matariki, Finzels Reach
- Just Biryani, Patchway

The British Dal Festival will also form part of a special Dal Edition of St Nick’s Night Market from 5-10pm on 27 March - entry is FREE!

Expect street food stalls offering a fabulous diversity of dals and pulse dishes, cookery demos from brilliant chefs, children’s activities, a market of delicious ingredients for dal and foods of lentils, beans, peas and more.
