This Easter weekend, some of the country’s best chocolate producers will be bringing their amazing chocolate to Bristol’s biggest celebration of chocolate. Taking over the Sansovino Hall, in Bristol’s new Harbour Hotel on the 15th and 16th April, Taste Chocolate is a two day event, featuring over 30 exhibitors, chocolate demonstrations, a Prosecco bar, a history of chocolate exhibition and new for this year, a multi-sensory experience, inviting you to experience chocolate like never before.
Origin: The Multisensory Chocolate Experience will be part theatre, part chocolate tasting and psychology and will use art, tarot, mindfulness and music to enhance the way audience members eat chocolate and will take place in the underground vaults of the Bristol Harbour Hotel’s new spa.
Visitors to the festival will be able to indulge in amazing hand-made chocolates from artisan producers; learn about chocolate skills from local chefs and chocolatiers in the Chocolate Theatre; discover Bristol’s rich chocolate history with the History of Chocolate Exhibition; and treat themselves to a glass of bubbly at the Taste Chocolate Prosecco Bar.
As well as the best local chocolatiers, there will be artisan food and drink producers selling indulgent pastries, locally made gin and liqueurs, fudge, chai, churros, crepes, chocolate desserts and cakes, sugar free, vegan and dairy free chocolate; and of course, lots of chocolate Easter eggs and other Easter related goodies.
Plus we’ll have family activities including the Taste Chocolate Easter Treasure Hunt sponsored by Divine Chocolate.
So why not immerse yourself in all things chocolately by devouring some of the finest chocolates made in the South West and further afield, learn about Bristol’s rich chocolate history and watch our talented producers and chefs while they work their magic in the Chocolate Theatre.
