At Hotel du Vin, we try not to overly organise the festive season, but rather encourage guests to make themselves at home and enjoy our hospitality.

Our Christmas three-course seasonal menu is filled with tempting classic dishes, and can be served in any of the three private rooms.

The Abbey Well, with its own private anteroom and secluded roof terrace, The Le Pin is a smaller, more intimate internal room, uniquely decorated in the style of ‘Klimt’ and is ideal for dinners for up to 40 guests. Finally, the Lanson, decorated with cherubs, is ideal for dining parties of up to 12.

The Bistro, with its relaxed, informal atmosphere, has a Christmas a la carte menu offering dishes prepared using the finest local ingredients. The Sugar Bar and Library are ideal for more informal drinks receptions or after dinner coffee.

Christmas’ time at Hotel du Vin is peaceful and relaxed, but expect to find all the trimmings!

Join the carnival at LAS IGUANAS this Christmas

Our three course Christmas menu always brings something different to the table with some Latin American favourites, some with a seasonal twist. Our gourmet fajitas are hot and sizzling with a choice of chicken, lemon and paprika with creamy gaucomole and cranberry salsa; shitake, oyster, portobello and button mushroom and chestnuts, blue cheese gaucomole and salsa; or venison leg steak with black cherry salsa and gaucomole.

Meat dishes include the house speciality Xin Xim (Brasilian lime chicken), Cordero (roast lamb rump) or Carne Grilado (8oz sirloin). Fish dishes include Bahian risotto with salmon, mussells and prawns, while vegetarians can enjoy Calabaza (baked squash stuffed with bell peppers in a creamy nutmeg sauce).

The Christmas lunch menu is £14.50 a head and available until 4pm every day, while the Christmas dinner menu is £23.50 and includes an appetizer of freshly-baked bread and marinated olives.
