Officially launching the 2008 Bristol Festival of Nature, this screening of stunning wildlife films from the 1960s to the present is all set to music by the Emerald Ensemble.
Featuring breathtaking imagery from the BBC's Animal Magic and David Attenborough's Life on Earth series, through to Springwatch and Life in Cold Blood, as well as glorious images of nature set to Vivaldi's Four Seasons, this concert celebrates the finest achievements in wildlife filmmaking.
This concert is the launch event for this year's Bristol Festival of Nature, the UK's biggest celebration of the natural world. Taking place at Bristol Harbourside, this exciting free event is an ambitious and imaginative weekend of films, animal encounters, exhibitions, walks, talks, workshops and competitions for all ages and interests, and an opportunity to celebrate nature in the centre of the city.

Patrons are strongly advised to use the West End and Trenchard car parks, each within a short walk of St George's Bristol. The car park adjacent to St George's Bristol is not for public use. Please note, there is now a meter charge for evening roadside parking.
There are several bus services to St George's Bristol, stopping at the top and bottom of Park Street. For information on local bus services call 0117 955 3231.
Bristol is well served with trains to Bristol Temple Meads from Bath Spa, Cardiff, London Paddington, the South, Birmingham New Street and the North. There is a taxi rank just outside the station and buses numbers 8, 9, 508 and 509 stop at the top and bottom of Park Street. For information on trains call 0345 484950.
