St George's Bristol

Situated just off Park Street, St George’s Bristol is a Georgian former church, renowned as having one of the best live music acoustics in Britain. The venue hosts a year-round programme of music including classical, opera, folk, world and jazz.

Concert hall and music venue St George’s Bristol has announced plans to move into the Christmas party market. Bookings are currently being taken for Friday 7 December, to coincide with a performance by legendary Welsh singers, the Treorchy Male Choir.

Drawing on its reputation for musical excellence and with pre-concert meals a growing area of business, St George’s has taken the step of offering an exclusive packaged Christmas deal for private parties, featuring a special seasonal menu and top-price tickets to this selected concert.

The venue has teamed up with Bristol-based high-end events organisation ClinkClink to deliver its Christmas packages. The company specialises in working with unusual venues to host unique parties, which are beautifully themed, lit and presented. The St George’s events are being aimed at businesses and smaller groups of up to 70 people. Food will be served in a private room, with full access to the St George’s bar.

Treorchy Male Choir are the pre-eminent Welsh male voice choir. In full song now for over sixty years, no other Welsh choir has received as many accolades. With a repertoire ranging from Sibelius to Freddie Mercury, they have shared a stage with the likes of Dame Shirley Bassey, Charlotte Church and Ozzy Osbourne to name but a few. For their first visit to St George’s, the choir promise stirring music of all kinds, including classical, popular and seasonal pieces.

Road Directions

Follow signs for the City Centre, the venue is situated off of Park Street. Patrons are strongly advised to use the West End and Trenchard car parks, each within a short walk of St George's Bristol.

There are several bus services to St George's Bristol, stopping at the top and bottom of Park Street. For information on local bus services call 0117 955 3231.

Bristol is well served with trains to Bristol Temple Meads from Bath Spa, Cardiff, London Paddington, the South, Birmingham New Street and the North.
