N-Gaged training offers high-quality funded training to match your business needs

Fully-funded and recognised accredited qualifications and training courses of your choice, to enhance your employees’ skills and improve overall output and profitability are available. Covering a wide range of sectors, N-Gaged Training provide bespoke training straight to your door, free of charge. 
This opportunity is via Skills Support for the Workforce which is a co-financed ESFA/SFA programme* that seeks to support business development in the West of England.

How it works:
Step 1:     A training needs analysis for your business, identifying the skills you need to support your business ambitions.
Step 2:     Choose from a menu of qualifications that we can deliver to suit your needs. Pick full qualifications or mix and match individual units to suit your business. 
Step 3:     N-gaged training delivers your bespoke training package over an agreed timeframe, working closely with your personnel with minimal disruption to productivity, to achieve the best learning outcomes. 

Catering and Hospitality Industry:
N-gaged Training is an experienced training provider to the Catering and Hospitality sectors, working closely with major employers to upskill and motivate staff for outstanding results. We currently offer the following accredited courses:
•    Using kitchen equipment 
•    Preparing and serving drinks 
•    Resolve customer service problems in hospitality 
•    Customer service in hospitality, leisure and travel/tourism 
•    Award for Personal License holders
•    Certificate in introduction to Hospitality 
•    Preparing and cleaning of service areas
•    BTEC Certificate in Hospitality team member 
•    Basic Food Preparation and Cooking

Personal Effectiveness for Managers

This one-day interactive training course aims to help you boost your performance at work – by being more effective in your dealings with others.

This could include becoming more assertive, improving your communication or managing your workload and delegating better. In short – getting more achieved and being more productive!

  • The benefits - what you can achieve
  • Understanding human behaviour
  • Communication - connecting with others
  • Managing and resolving conflict
  • Positive assertive techniques

Customer Service for the Disabled Visitor

Designed for the tourism and hospitality sector, this ½ day course promotes understanding of the barriers encountered by Disabled People and provides an opportunity for candidates to design solutions which will ensure their workplace is an inclusive environment, delivering excellent customer service for Disabled People.

Course content:

  • increasing awareness and understanding of the barriers encountered by Disabled People and how they can be minimised
  • the importance of ensuring accessible environments and delivering excellent customer service within the sector
  • overview of key legislation and the business’s responsibilities
  • defining ‘good practice’ within your own organisation
  • exploring the adoption of good practice

Cost: £75 per person

Delivery: The course is delivered by a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development with a background in Hospitality and Hospitality Business Management who has published national works on disability equality.

Open sessions within the city are available to individuals and small. Groups of 15 or more can receive in-house or off-site training. There is an element of tailoring within the sessions around attendees. There is a pre-session opportunity for individuals and organisations to highlight any particular issues they would like covered.

Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders - This one day course gives you the knowledge and understanding to be able to gain the qualification needed
for your Personal Licence.
