There won’t be a single “Bah, Humbug!” in the city when Celestial and Yuup’s reimagining of A Christmas Carol takes to the skies above Seat Unique Stadium in December, which will see the classic Charles Dickens tale be told in a format never seen before.
The new, 45-minute show reimagines Charles Dickens’ classic tale and will take audiences on a heart-warming journey with miserly Ebenezer Scrooge. Watch in wonder as hundreds of colourful drones create famous characters from the iconic story as Scrooge is visited by the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future. Cheer with delight as the performance closes with the best of festive happy endings, all narrated by the unique and enchanting voice of Matt Lucas.
The brand new Christmas show is created by Celestial, the award-winning creators of drone light shows across the globe from Glastonbury 2024 and London New Year’s Eve to Eurovision.
What to expect
On the night, alongside the 45-minute aerial display, the show stadiums will offer a whole host of entertainment, perfect for any Christmas gathering or treat.
