We asked Danny Walker from Bristol micro distillery Psychopomp to give us his top 3 unmissable events ahead of this year's cocktail extravaganza...

Bristol Cocktail Week 2017

Bristol Cocktail Week (25 September-1 October) is now in its 7th year and boasts fourteen special cocktail events over 6 days, as well as a dedicated Bristol Cocktail Week boardgame that you can play at bars across the city!

The whole week is full of highlights, but if I had to pick just a few then I would suggest not missing the following:

Ardbeg: Unleash The Beast

A truly unique one off event. We have taken over the Clifton Observatory and teamed up with Ardbeg Whisky to delivery a sensory overload.

Guests will sample some of the world tastiest whiskies which will give them a virtual tour of Islay, whilst they take in some epic views of Bristol from the balcony of the Observatory.

Bristol Syrup Company Launch Party

Bristol Cocktail Week 2017 sees the national launch party for a brand new product line being made right here in Bristol.

The event itself will be full of surprises and I can't give too much away, but its one you don't want to miss!

Only One Quality, The Finest

The Gold Bar are a new venue to Bristol Cocktail Week and they will be hosting a Champagne cocktail event that looks pretty awesome. The line up of big name Champagne houses includes Dom Perignon!

The party finishes at 8pm, which is coincidentally the same time that Gypsies, Gin, Rogues & Thieves starts at The Milk Thistle. Back-to-back parties - sounds like plan to me!
