The Other Art Fair returns bigger than ever to its brand new location, The Passenger Shed from 26-29 July, with over 100 artists exhibiting. The Fair offers the chance to meet future art stars from all over the world (including several local ones) and buy directly from them in a social, relaxed atmosphere. Featuring at the fair, will be a range of genres, including photography, stencilling, painting, sculpture, ceramics and street art.

Here are eight things you mustn’t miss at The Other Art Fair 2018!

The Other Art Fair

Bristol favourite and one of the top 25 bakeries in the UK, Pinkmans will be catering for every art fair goer with a selection of pastries, doughnuts, wood-fired pizzas and tagines. Get there early for one of their famous sourdoughnuts!

The Gin Hive caravan

Travelling cocktail caravan, The Gin Hive will be bringing the party to The Other Art Fair this year! Look out for a special concoction in collaboration with local artist Hazel Mountford, inspired by her wildlife studies – think Shiraz, fresh blackberries and local honey. Yum.

Harland Miller’s charity auction

The legendary controversial printmaker Harland Miller will be auctioning three hand-finished, exclusive prints for the hepatitis charity, Art On A Postcard. A fantastic chance to get your hands on some of Miller’s works while raising money for an excellent cause.

The Old Bookshop Shipwreck

Ahoy me 'art-ies'! North Street's cosy café bar The Old Bookshop will be stationed at the site of a huge ship mast, shipwrecked amongst the art, serving regional ales, lagers and ciders.

Make some art

Spike Print Studio tutor and artist, Justyna Medon will be inviting the public to produce a large scale wall hanging on fabric during the weekend. Justyna has pre- cut stencils available and optional stencils that can be cut during a "roll it - print it" session. Members of the public will be able to work with rollers on their own compositions to add to the collaborative, large scale panel.
