Who can resist Swoon in amazing summer weather! I love their ice creams, especially the pistachio flavour - so nutty and creamy, I always go for two flavours and one must be pistachio! I also buy their big ice cream cake for friends’ birthday celebrations, they are always a hit at the party. And definitely no need to worry about left-over cake.

Glassboat Brasserie

By the river, perfect for a date night. The view and atmosphere is unbeatable and makes the dinner an extra sensational experience.

Boston Tea Party

As an artist I don’t enjoy early mornings, but BTP is always a great way to start your day. Egg benedict with a cup of Rooibos tea always give me a flying start.

Toro Noodle Bar

Although the name suggests a Chinese Noodle bar, it is actually so much more. It offers authentic Chinese Sichuan Spicy style dishes and their one pot style of dish is ideal if you have 3-4 people to share with. You choose the ingredients you like for the pot and they cook it in a tasty spicy sauce.

Woodes Café

A great place to go for a budget afternoon tea, with no compromise on the quality. Freshly baked scones with plenty of cream and Jam, it’s always a surprise when the bill is just under a fiver per person.

Sergio’s Italian

Hidden under the Banksy Naked man hanging by the window painting is a good little authentic Italian. The sauce on their Lamb chop dish is so yummy and so is their dessert. Not a cheap night out, but great for dinner.
