The Station Bristol
The Station

The Station (run by the Creative Youth Network)

Located in the centre of Bristol close to the bus station and Bristol Shopping Quarter, The Station provides support for young people. They invest time in them and tailor their support to each person’s needs, from volunteering opportunities within the organisation through to advice and creative opportunities.

In addition to their work with young people, The Station has a versatile events space. The Grade II listed former fire station is available for hire for up to 220 guests theatre style, along with a dance studio and a courtyard that can be turned into anything from a festival location to a private party.

The YHA

Located on Bristol’s Harbourside, Bristol YHA provides life-changing opportunities for young people and families.

The Hostel has three conference rooms available – the larger holds up to 50 people, their meeting room up to 30 and their boardroom up to 18. Rooms have digital projectors, screens and PA equipment. A range of meal options, hot & cold buffets, working lunches and tea & coffee is also available.

The Create Centre

Having won the European Green capital in 2015, Bristol is a hub for new sustainable development ideas. The Create Centre offers programmes for groups of adults and children on how to live more sustainable lives, and host exhibitions to promote green initiatives. 

The venue offers a range of flexible spaces for events of all sizes, from informal gatherings to larger scale conferences. As well as smaller rooms for workshops and meetings, they also have a 70 seater theatre equipped with video and data projection, a PA system and induction loop. 

The Penny Brohn Centre

Located just outside of the city, the Penny Brohn Centre offers a range of events facilities and accommodation set within beautiful grounds. By booking a conference or event at Penny Brohn, you would be supporting the fabulous work that the charity does towards helping people live well with Cancer. 

The centre offers 10 meeting rooms of varying size, suitable for groups of up to 90 people. There are also break out spaces, a beautiful garden room, full use of AV equipment and flipcharts, and a dining room seating up to 64 people.

St George’s Bristol

Having recently opened their new extension, café bar and event space, St George’s has plenty to offer. Their Grade II* listed concert hall seats up to 580 people, and there are also multi-purpose spaces which can accommodate smaller meetings and events.

Revenue generated through venue hire helps the registered charity attract world-class musicians, care for its historic and contemporary buildings and run an innovative learning and participation programme.

Arnos Vale Cemetery

If you are looking for an alternative and quirky venue, this is the place for you. Located just ten minutes away from Bristol Temple Meads station, Arnos Vale Cemetery is one of Britain’s great Victorian garden cemeterys, containing versatile and unique event spaces.

Small meetings, training days, team building events and weddings are ideal events for this venue. As a Social Enterprise the money you spend at Arnos Vale goes towards the social and environmental good of the community, including restoration projects on site.

Bristol Cathedral

The Cathedral is a unique setting for a concert or special event. With a historical and monumental backdrop, you won't find a more iconic location in Bristol. Profits from events go towards maintaining the Cathedral for its visitors and worshipers. 

Museum and galleries

Bristol is home to many world-class museums, many of which have event versatile space, giving you the opportunity to explore the museum after hours. Funds generated from events help towards maintaining the museums and providing educational programmes for schools.
