Bristol is feeling very festive at the moment, from the twinkly Christmas lights dotted across the city, to the smell of mulled wine and sweet treats drifting from the miles of Christmas markets.

We've got plenty of suggestions across the site for the best Christmas markets, theatre shows, carol concerts and Santa grottos, but we thought it was worth handing over to some locals to see where they recommend spending your time during the festive period.

Remember to tag us and use #MerryBristmas in your adventures around the city!

MerryBristmas Mural

To kickstart the Christmas festivities in the city, we commissioned a mural from local street artists Cheo and Silent Hobo, cramming in as many Bristol references and attractions as we could - how many can you find?

Find the mural just by the entrance to We The Curious, just a stone's throw from the Winter Fair and ice rink in Millennium Square.
