Saturday 13 April is Record Store Day, a day when independent record stores across the world celebrate their culture with live in-store performances and special vinyl releases.

Plastic Wax Records

Record Store Day wouldn’t be complete without paying a visit to Bristol’s biggest record dealer. Located just by The Arches on Cheltenham Road, Plastic Wax Records has been around since 1978 and has the biggest collection of records in the South West, offering many types of genres. They are also the leading stockist for Bristol Archive Records, showcasing many records from Bristol’s diverse local music scene. Although the store isn’t taking part in Record Store Day, they are offering a 20% discount for card holders this Saturday only.
