Christmas burgers at Quay Street Diner
Choose from a range of Christmas-themed burgers including one with beef, bacon & cranberry, or the Veganmas Burger (Vegan smashed patty, stuffing rosti, cheese and cranberry sweet chilli sauce with tater tots). Their Christmas menu also has dishes including Xmas nachos, Mexican spiced turkey tacos, Christmac and Cheese (Mac ‘n’ cheese with pigs in blankets) and a taco like you've never tried before, with mexican spiced turkey, shredded sprouts, sage and onion crumb, Christmas salsa, bacon dust and tater tots, phew!
Festive hot wraps at Friska
The perfect lunchtime filler, a khobez wrap stuffed with spinach, sage stuffing, cranberry slaw and your choice of chicken, halloumi or roast butternut squash. You can also add a pig in blanket to any wrap for £1. Friska also have 3 new hot drinks for winter: Cinnabun Latte, White Hot Chocolate and Hot Chocolate Orange.
Fried sprouts at The Ox
Much beloved by the people of Bristol, these deep fried sprouts are drizzled in an unctuous sauce and are a great accompaniment to one of their steaks or Sunday lunches, or you can book in for their Christmas menu. This year The Ox is also open on Christmas Day for lunch, should you want to save yourself the washing up!
Chestnut tart with Moscatel and vanilla cream at Bravas
Alongside their delicious seasonal tapas menu, the team at Bravas have created some indulgent winter desserts including this warming chestnut tart, as well as Pedro Ximenez + chocolate ice cream, a festive crema catalan, turron jijona ice cream and a white chocolate, cardamom and pimenton mousse. Yum!
Roast guinea fowl at Harvey Nichols
Harvey Nichols are doing a decadent Christmas Menu of 3 courses for £33 per person, with dishes including roast breast of guinea fowl with pumpkin puree, roast venison with trimmings or Jerusalem artichoke pithivier. We'd also recommend trying their festive cocktails.
Banana, mezcal and pecan ice cream at Masa + Mezcal
If you're stuffed from their Mexican-inspired feasting menu, we're sure you can still find room for this very moreish ice cream! The dessert menu also features a gluten free chocolate tart and chocolate & mezcal ice cream, served with a masa hotcake and candied popcorn.
Salted chocolate, cranberry & pistachio tart at Riverstation
Riverstation have gone extra indulgent with the desserts on their Christmas menu this year! You can also choose from a sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream and a nutmeg panna cotta with orange & cranberry relish and cinnamon crumble.
Sherry and Christmas pudding trifle at Gambas
Desserts don't come much more Christmassy than trifle, and tapas maestros Gambas have taken it to the next level with chunks of Christmas pud and thick custard.
Snowball Fight dessert at Ivy Clifton Brasserie
This dessert is made with brandy ice cream, white chocolate, gingerbread and cream sauce, and is priced at £9.25. They also have a range of festive cocktails including a Winter Bellini and a Roast Chestnut Julep.
Boozy hot chocolate at Canteen
Warm yourself up on Stokes Croft this December with a hot chocolate topped up with Disaronno, Brandy or Cointreau and a generous amount of cream. Or you could opt for a classic Hot Toddy, Oat Milk Irish coffee, a local mulled cider from Ashridge Cider or the classic mulled wine.
Christmas pudding gin at Bar 44
This festive gin is aged in an oak sherry barrel and infused with Pedro Ximinez sherry, clementines and cinnamon.
Spiced Espresso Martini at Las Iguanas
Las Iguanas have a selection of Christmas cocktails, including Spiced Espresso Martini (Jägermeister Cold Brew, cold brew espresso blend, coconut water), Christmas Colada (Jägermeister Cold Brew, coconut cream, pineapple, chocolate bitters, salt) or Snow Globe (Malibu, white cacao, sherbet, coconut, cardamom) as well as a dedicated Christmas Menu to keep you warm over winter!
