There’s no atmosphere in Bristol quite like Wapping Wharf whether on a Friday lunchtime, or as the sun sets over the harbour. The neighbourhood’s eclectic food and drink scene is now back open for business – and here’s some inspiration for where to head next this #FoodFriday!

Book a table online at BOX-E for delicious seasonal menus, Seven Lucky Gods for amazing Japanese cuisine, Tare for tasty sharing plates or Harbour and Browns for all day food and prosecco. Gambas is taking reservations of 90 minute-slots, plenty of time to tuck into some tapas and Wild Beer is taking bookings for inside the bar or walk-ins for outside seating. Each week, Root has a fabulous new sharing menu, which you can also enjoy as an “at home” dining experience!

Lots of places are offering al fresco dining too. Over lockdown team Pigsty was working on their delicious new menu, and they’ve also opened a new sheltered outdoor seating area! You can also sit outside at Cargo Cantina, Calypso Kitchen, Bandook, Woky Ko, Pizzarova, Mokoko and  Squeezed.

Or, maybe you want to pick up a takeaway and find a seat around the docks to watch the boats go by?  Grab a coffee from Little Victories and a tasty pastry from Assembly Bakery to fuel your morning stroll. Bring your own containers to Better Food and they’ll serve you fresh meals sustainably! The Athenian is a popular spot for takeaway souvlaki wraps, whilst new addition Jigaraki is serving delicious Persian food to have on the go. Head to Salt and Malt for their famous fish and chips. And why not pop back for some ice-cream for dessert from Oliver’s?

Prefer a night in? Gopal's Curry Shack has been delivering delicious, chilled curries for you to heat up at your convenience. Plenty of our other restaurants are still offering delivery too, just check out their websites for more information!

It’s great to see Wapping Wharf come alive again; as ever, the challenge is deciding which amazing restaurant or café to visit! Always check the traders’ own websites in advance to check their policy on bookings/walk ins to avoid disappointment.
