M Shed

About

Situated on the historic Harbourside, M Shed is the much anticipated and exciting new history museum of Bristol that tells the story of our city. The 1950s transit shed, originally called M Shed, on Bristol’s historic wharf has been transformed into a brand new museum but also serves as a beautiful wedding venue.

Your wedding day is one of the most special days of your life, so naturally it should also be the most memorable! M Shed provides a truly unique wedding venue in Bristol and a team of experienced staff will be on hand every step of the way to ensure your wedding day gives you and your guest’s happy memories to treasure forever.

M Shed can also offer a variety of unusual options to inspire, amuse and entertain… Why not be air-lifted to your wedding by crane? Soak up the city views and arrange for your guests to arrive by boat! Take your guests on an open top steam train ride along the river. Inspire your guests and arrange a private evening viewing of the galleries. Stun your guests with a fireworks display over the water.

M Shed is a flexible venue for your wedding celebrations, offering everything from civil ceremonies to bespoke wedding packages and evening celebration parties. The setting could not be more stunning with panoramic views over Bristol’s harbour and cityscape, providing a beautiful backdrop for your wedding photography. The private Events Suite is located on the top floor of the museum, providing an exclusive space for you and your guests to celebrate whilst enjoying the best views in the house.
