No.1 Brunel Square

Add No.1 Brunel Square to your Itinerary

No.1 Brunel Square

No. 1 Brunel Square, which neighbours the historic SS Great Britain, is a state of the art purpose built conference space with meeting and breakout rooms.

No. 1 Brunel Square, hosts AGMs, conferences, exhibitions, client entertainment and office parties, photo shoots, as well as product, media, brand and advertising launches. With views over the harbour, the venue is ideal for photo opportunities. Up-to-date, flexible and modern facilities, with easy access, excellent transport links and good car and coach parking, complement the historic setting.

Packages include optional tours of the ship, high resolution images for promotional use, and most importantly event coordination support. A unique setting is augmented by award-winning service from the ss Great Britain Trust’s events team. Clients regularly choose to hold conferences at No. 1 Brunel Square followed by an evening drinks reception or three-course dinner on board Brunel’s SS Great Britain.

No. 1 Brunel Square can be hired independently or in conjunction with the SS Great Britain. The venue space available on board ship include the Top Deck, the Promenade Deck, the First Class Dining Saloon and Hayward Saloon. Clients are able to hire part of the ship or have exclusive use of the entire ship. Launched by Prince Albert in 1843, admired by a young Queen Victoria and designed by one of the greatest engineers of the Victorian age, Isambard Kingdom Brunel, the venue continues to inspire individuals and corporates alike.

All revenue generated by private and corporate venue hire helps the SS Great Britain Trust to care for the historic ship, and to run educational programmes. The SS Great Britain Trust is part of the Green Tourism Business Scheme (Silver).
