World Host Destination

To improve city-wide customer service for its visitors Destination Bristol has set its sights on Bristol becoming a ‘WorldHost Recognised Destination’.

Achieving this status entails the Bristol WorldHost Destination project training 3,000 people in WorldHost’s 1 day ‘Principles of Customer Service’. The project is managed by BEST (Bristol Employment, Skills and Training) in partnership with Destination Bristol, N-Gaged Training, Weston College and People 1st. It was launched March 2015, and 9 months in has already attained 1,479 people have been trained, booked to train and pledged.
