Chitty Chitty Bang Bang cast fly in to raise funds for The Grand Appeal

Everyone is loving The Grand Appeal’s Gromit Unleashed 2 sculpture trail in aid of Bristol Children’s Hospital and the Special Care Baby Unit at St Michael’s hospital, Bristol, but on Saturday, August 18 one Gromit is going to have to share the limelight!

The cast of BLOC Productions’ Chitty Chitty Bang Bang will be performing next to Caractacus Paws in The Galleries Shopping Centre from 2pm - 5pm on Saturday, August 18.

BLOC Productions is a multi-award winning amateur theatre group based in Bristol. Founded in 1933, the group has staged annual performances at the Bristol Hippodrome since 1956.

The cast will be singing songs from the show, which will appear at The Bristol Hippodrome from September 18 to September 22. They will be raising money for The Grand Appeal, so dig deep for this tremendous charity while you’re being entertained.

Gromit Unleashed 2

Led by Bristol Children’s Hospital Charity The Grand Appeal, Gromit Unleashed 2 sees Nick Park's Academy Award®-winning character Gromit return to Bristol for his second starring role in the award-winning charity's sculpture trails. But this time he's not alone; the loveable pooch is joined by his pal Wallace and arch nemesis Feathers McGraw!

Featuring 67 giant sculptures designed by high-profile artists, designers, innovators and local talent,

Gromit Unleashed 2 is raising money for Bristol Children’s Hospital and the Special Care Baby Unit. Caracatus Paws, sat in his four-fendered Chitty Chitty friend, is designed by the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang team at EON Productions, painted by local artist Emily Ketteringham, and sponsored by The Galleries.
