Make Venues joins local businesses in donating PPE

8th July 2020

Categories: Latest News

Make Venues has joined forces with more than 100 other organisations, local to Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire to donate Personal Protective Equipment for frontline workers.

Make Venues were able to donate 1,000 pairs of gloves, 1,000 masks and eight litres of sanitising hand gel, following a plea from the Regional Mayor Tim Bowles and the West of England Combined Authority on behalf of local health and care organisations.

Make Venues’ Engineers’ House property is located in Bristol and has become well known and trusted among businesses within the South West and beyond. The venue continues to support the local area whenever it can.

Engineers’ House General Manager, Martyn Bowen said: “The demand for protective equipment remains at an all-time high, so I’m proud we’ve been able to do our bit. We would like to encourage other local businesses and organisations to continue their support.”
