Now into it’s fourth year, Bristol’s leading tech conference is set to sell out again after the initial batch of tickets were snapped up within a week. Aimed at the full spectrum of developers, from coders to UX experts, the Bristech conference is now a firm fixture on the regions’ Tech calendar.

Taking place at Bristol’s digital media centre, Watershed, Bristech will maximise the use of the multi-cinema set-up, streaming content throughout the venue to reach all of the expected 400 delegates.

Thomas Heiser, MD of Bristol-based Focal Point Event Management, production partner for the conference since its inception, is already excited about this year’s developments.

“The energy of the South West’s tech community is a massive driving force for Bristech. We’re constantly working to push the boundaries in terms of content and delegate experience and the Watershed is a great place to do it. We’ve got some exciting surprises up our sleeves”.

Nic Hemley, Bristech Founder continues: “The fact that our home-grown event is attracting speakers, delegates and sponsors from across the UK and beyond is testament to the strength of the South West tech cluster and the enthusiasm people have for Bristol. People come wanting to see what all the noise is about and leave with new knowledge, new connections and a love for the city”. Previous sponsors of Bristech include Dyson, IMDb, Just Eat and IMB.

“Bristol is the perfect city to host a business event” say Thomas. “We have great transport links, a broad range of venues, ample accommodation and probably the best food scene in the UK. Most importantly though the people here are amazing. Creative, innovative and open to collaboration. The perfect ingredients for a great event”.
