Name a pair of Colston Hall seats for Valentine’s Day

8th February 2018

Categories: Latest News

Want to do something truly special for Valentine’s Day this year? Why not make your mark at Bristol’s Colston Hall by having a personal message displayed on two of the new seats there for you and the special person in your life.

Nothing says “I Love You” like making a public declaration of your affection, and this unique chance to be part of the hall’s transformation, which will see the building re-open in 2020 as one of the best arts and learning centres in the country, will be a superb romantic gesture and give you and your other half a presence in the reborn venue.

Maybe you and your partner went on your first date at the Colston Hall, or have spent some special evenings there enjoying great music or comedy. Whatever your connection to the venue, you can literally become part of the furniture when the impressive unveiling takes place in two years’ time.

With a target of £48.8million to fund the transformation, the team at Colston Hall has already secured £40.9million and the seat naming campaign is one of many ways the Bristol public can play a part in reaching the final total.

Naming a seat costs from as little as £5 a month over four years, for which your chosen name or message will be engraved on a plaque and mounted on the back of your chosen seat for 20 years. If you buy two seats at once by Sunday, February 11th as a special Valentine’s Day gift, for just £10 a month you’ll receive a personalised certificate and balloon to give to your loved one on 14th February.

For those looking for an even grander gesture, other seat naming packages are available, all of them including a plaque and certificate. Depending on the level of support these packages include a range of benefits, such as exclusive backstage tours of the new hall, VIP entry to the re-opening party, and once the hall is fully re-opened, access to a new Supporters’ Lounge.

To name a pair of seats for Valentine’s Day, visit https://www.colstonhall.org/name-a-seat by Sunday 11 February in order to receive your naming certificate and balloon in time for the big day. You can also name your seats by calling the box office on 0117 2034040.
