Great place to stay, staff friendly, room spacious and clean. Less than 10 minute walk from Temple Meads train station and 10-15 minute walk into the centre. Theres a Starbucks, Greg’s and weatherspoons close by which was really hand in the morning. The only reason I’ve given it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I ordered breakfast for the morning, which wasn’t included in the room. They told me children were free but it cost £18 for one breakfast! Absolutely extortionate!

Room was clean and spacious but incredibly warm with no heating on. Air cooling system ( didn’t seem like aircon) was ineffective and had to leave windows open which can be noisy come evening. The bed was hard and tv not very big ( I’ve stayed in lots of hotels for work and have lots to compare with ) That said , room was cleaned every day , restaurant had a good choice of food and drinks in the bar. There could be more variety on the continental breakfast side compared to other chains and one morning the breakfast wasn’t very warm. Staff friendly and it was convenient for Bristol temple meads. If the bed was comfier and room the right temperature I would return but unfortunately a good night sleep is the deal breaker.

wonderful sleep in overnight stays

We booked this hotel for two separate overnight stays; it was like an oasis in this big town. We had a good sleep in the comfortable bed and for breakfast we could choose from a wide range of very different things. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Next time when we take a flight to Bristol, we will come again for another stay. Thank you, dear staff of the Novotel Bristol Centre.
