Comedy Loft
At the Volley, King St
The Comedy Loft is housed on Bristol's King St in the middle of town above The Volley. With a variety of different stand-up acts, all hilarious, there's something for everyone.

Every night is headlined by a top act who's experienced on the national circuit and is hand picked to make you laugh. Chances are you'll be seeing them all over the TV in a couple of year's time. All this and you're paying nothing to get in.

No 2 nights or line ups are the same at the loft but all have a great, friendly atmosphere with plenty of laughs to be had. As well as a cheeky game or two thrown in as well for good measure.

The best thing about our usual stand up night is that you pay what you want for it. If it's awful then pay nothing, if it's great then by all means get your chequebook out.

Then we also have roast battle tournaments at the start of each year. Come and see comedians trade insults, one liners and put downs in a bid to win the coveted roast chicken trophy and a cash prize.

Now and again we have 'presents' shows on the occasional Friday night to showcase our favourite comedians from the national circuit. You have to pay for a ticket for this one I'm afraid but for the talent that's on offer its definitely worth the modest ticket price. Past acts have featured top New York comic Mary Beth Barone and veteran surrealist Tony Law.

Whichever show you choose to come down and see we look forward to your laughs at The Loft.
