Found on Park Street, The Florist restaurant and bar has its roots firmly planted in the core principles of floristry - open for lunch and dinner every day from 12pm, with brunch served on weekends from 9:30am - 12pm and roasts to rival the best every Sunday until late.
The highlight of The Florist is, of course, its bespoke food and drink menu.
The extensive cocktail menu is inspired by the three key styles of floristry: English Summer Garden, Ikebana and Modern Contemporary… for drinks that not only taste amazing but look special too.
Whether it’s a fresh cocktail infused with herbal twists from the garden, or one of The Florist’s 60 hand-picked beers, drinkers are spoilt for choice with a tipple on offer to please every taste.
The food menu consists of mouth-watering deli, rotisserie and grill-inspired dishes, with plenty of gluten free, dairy free and vegan options to cater for all. From their signature hanging kebabs to the vegan elderflower meringue dessert, the diverse range of culinary delights share a common focus on distinctive flavours and fresh ingredients.
The Florist is Bristol’s most beautiful insta-friendly backdrop with the abundance of flowers flowing across the three- storey space. Perfectly coupled with the tactile rustic textures, smooth and shiny surfaces perfectly set off by the classic architecture of the historic building.
To create a truly unique space, The Florist has collaborated to bring the walls of the building to life with bespoke pieces by Bristol-based contemporary artist Gemma Compton and graffiti artist Jody Thomas.
Those wishing to enhance their sensory experience can partake in The Florist’s bespoke masterclasses. Guests can enjoy expertly-led experiences in the crafts of cocktails, floristry, gin and ale tastings. Private hire enquiries can be directed to their website.
The Florist is open daily until late with an uplifting vibe, DJ’s play every evening and are joined by saxophonists and percussionists Thursday through to Sunday.
