The Full Stop Café at Bookbarn International serves delicious, locally-sourced, original, home-cooked, vegetarian food, cakes, biscuits and freshly ground coffee.
There are comfy sofas by the wood-burning stove all surrounded by hundreds of thousands pre-loved books.
Wherever possible they use local and organic ingredients. Most of the fruit, veg and eggs come from the organic Community Farm in the Chew Valley between Bristol and Bath.
Their delicious fresh bread and tea cakes are hand-baked by Bread and Beyond just down the road in Chewton Mendip.
Parties, groups, clubs, outings and meetings are welcome and you can contact to arrange special menus.
There are varied events and activities throughout the year such as storytelling, live music and their popular literary quiz nights.
The site is wheelchair friendly with disabled facilities and plenty of free parking space. Well behaved pets, dogs and owners are welcome too.

The Bookbarn is located just 100 yards from the junction of the A37 and A39, known as the White Cross, in the middle of the triangle formed by Bristol, Bath and Wells. Just follow the signs. The Xpress Car Wash at the cross road is a well-known landmark.

Public Transport Directions
The 376 bus from Bristol to Wells and Street or vice versa runs every 30 minutes in both directions. Ask the driver for the White Cross bus stop, the Bookbarn are a three minute walk from the cross roads.
