Hunter Language School is a British Council accredited language school which offers professional, dynamic and affordable English language courses in central Bristol that will help you build the language skills and confidence you need to communicate freely and fluently. They offer Intensive, part-time and private one-to-one study options with high standards and affordable prices. They also teach Spanish, both in groups and privately.

Hunter Language School Intensive courses are 10, 15 or 20 hours per week. The Intensive 10 course focuses on all skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing and is aimed at improving communication skills. The Intensive 15 course is a combination of the Intensive 10 plus an additional speaking and listening lesson, to help you gain confidence and develop communicative skills. The Intensive 20 is a combination of Intensive 15 plus an English for the Workplace lesson, to work on skills needed for professional life, such as interview skills, managing issues, giving presentations and much more.

Their part-time courses are 4 hours a week, on two weekday mornings or evenings. As well as General English courses, they also offers exam preparation courses, including FCE, CAE and IELTS.

Private lessons are a great way to study and progress your English quickly. Focus can be on improving general communication and comprehension skills or specialist areas such as PET, FCE, CAE, IELTS exam preparation, these lessons can be arranged at any time to fit your timetable.

Hunter Language School also offers homestay for students who also want to have the experience of living in a British home. All their teachers are qualified native speakers who take pride in their teaching and care about their students. Many of their teachers have studied or worked abroad so they understand the challenges you might face when learning a new language and living in a foreign country. They will make your learning experience fun and engaging.

Hunter Language School also organises a regular language exchange so their students have the chance to practise English, Spanish and other languages in a social setting. They are free, social, relaxed and a good way to meet people and explore Bristol as the bar they meet at changes each time.
