Bristol Hoppers

Bristol Hoppers tours are a great way to enjoy a wide selection of beers from Bristol brewers while exploring the city and visiting their favourite traditional pubs, microbreweries & tap rooms along the way.

Take a walk through Bristol taking in sites such as the historic docks and old town, stopping regularly to quench your thirsts with at least seven delicious craft beers, all included in the price. There's several routes to choose from so that everyone can discover new areas of the city.

Choose one of the sociable guided tours, taking around 3-4 hours, and you'll have the opportunity to make new friends while discovering your favourite Bristol beers and learning more about the city's breweries and history.

Alternatively, choose one of their mystery self-guided tours that you can take at your own pace at a time and day of your choice.

Bristol Hoppers brand new Best of Bristol Audio Tour: A Guide to the Old City and its Brilliant Pubs

At your own pace, explore and learn about Bristol's Old City on foot. Discover fabulous, independent food and drink venues and see some awesome street art (including two Banksy's). Locals can see the city from a different perspective, and hopefully discover somewhere new, and visitors can learn what Bristol is all about and get tips on what to do with the rest of their trip.

The tour can be taken at any time and uses a clever app that tracks your location; telling you about what you are passing at the right time. This means that you can walk  at your own speed and stop for food or drinks along the way, if you choose to.

Self-guided "Cross-Harbour" tour

Everything one could want from  a mystery craft beer walking tour - It's a good, long afternoon stroll and includes seven beers, to be enjoyed in four very different, independent stops and a ferry journey. You pass the SS Great Britain and loads of brilliant street art, including a Banksy.

The Three Tuns is your starting point. Here you'll be given your welcome envelope from one of the lovely bar staff. This will contain tokens for two beers from their carefully chosen range of casks, and for beers in the following venues later. There's a map in your envelope telling you where you'll be spending them! Also included in your token bag is your fare for the ferry.

Following your map, you'll then venture into 3 other brilliant, independent locations (another brilliant traditional pub, a brewery tap room, with has beautiful beers brewed on the premises, and a fascinating bar full of curiosities). There's locally brewed beers in each venue included in the price (just hand over your token), but feel free to stay for more if you like. The great thing about this tour is that you can do it at your own pace.

Taking your time as you walk between venues is especially important on this tour because you pass right by the SS Great Britain and so much fabulous street art (don't forget to look behind you!) Your map will also take you to a hidden Banksy.

The group tours are very sociable and encourage you to come either alone, with a friend or a small group. There are usually around three a month to choose from. For over 18's only

Self-guided tours are designed for 1-6 people and can be taken Monday-Saturday. Well behaved, under control dogs are welcome if you are taking an afternoon tour.

Larger groups can get in touch for a private tour, which can even be customised if you wish (think birthdays, work socials, meet-up events & afternoon warm-ups for stag & hen do’s)

They look forward to meeting you!

Guided "Breweries, Brunel & Brigstow" tour

* Guided tours are not expected to commence until 2021 *

We meet at Brunel's Bristol Temple Meads station and take in a few interesting facts about it's past.

A ten minute walk away is a great brewery tap room where we'll have a third pint of their popular beer while hearing more about the brewery. You'll be told about the brewery and wide range of beers on offer, all made right there on the premises, from which you will then choose two more thirds to enjoy.

It's five minute stretch of the old legs to our next stop, a small family run bar in the heart of Old Market. Here we'll enjoy a half pint of Bristol brewed keg beer and something to nibble on.

After that, there's some history snippets about the Old Market area as we pass through. We'll stop at a traditional pub with over 800 years of history to learn a little about while you quench your thirsts with our first cask beer of the day.

A stroll through castle park, we learn about Bristol's oldest area, before reaching our last stop. In this fabulous brewpub overlooking the park and river, we'll have two thirds of their own delicious beer brewed on the premises.
