Charles Wesley’s House was once the family home of Charles Wesley, the great Methodist hymn writer. He lived at 4 Charles Street, along with his wife and three children from 1749 to 1771.
Charles Wesley’s House is arranged exactly as it was when the family lived there. Visitors can see the parlour, music room, bedroom, study, kitchen and garden.
Note that Charles Wesley’s House is open by arrangement for groups only. Please call the New Room in advance to arrange a visit and guided tour.
