Design West is a lively venue for architecture, design and placemaking on Bristol harbourside, home to talks, events, education programmes and the co-ordinating hub for Bristol Open Doors.
Their mission is to inspire the public, politicians and professionals across the built environment to design better, healthier, places to live, work and relax. A registered charity, Design West put design and social value at the heart of their programmes and services. Design West is the new name for The Architecture Centre and Creating Excellence.
On the ground floor, The Architect café bar is open 7 days a week, serving speciality coffees, teas & sourdough sandwiches, cocktails, fine wines & craft beers, cheese & charcuterie boards. In the summer, the quayside terrace is the perfect spot to catch the evening sun.
