Oakham Treasures

Oakham Treasures

Oakham Treasures is an impressive museum of retail and farming memorabilia, which guarantees to give you a happy and nostalgic trip down memory lane.

The large museum is divided into two key sections. The retail section houses an amazing display of memorabilia including a recreated grocery store, haberdashery, chemist, off licence, tobacconist, sweet shop and hardware store all displaying the original contents, packaging, advertising signs and merchandising used throughout the last century.

Whether you are 8 or 80, you'll be fascinated by this vast and unique collection of memorabilia from the last century. There really is something for everybody.

The farm section is an impressive museum in its own right, and houses a collection of over 100 tractors dating back to 1910, and a vast display of farm machinery and old engines used on the land in days long gone by.

Oakham Treasures is housed in a purpose built climate controlled museum. It is fully accessible for disabled visitors, has a lovely café which sells a range of hot and cold drinks and delicious locally produced food. There is plenty of FREE parking on site too.

Located just a mile off Junction 19 of the M5, and 10 minutes from the centre of Bristol.

You will need to allow 2-3 hours for visitors to go around the museum, and then time for them to have a snack or lunch in the café.
