About
Royate Hill is an unusual nature reserve, partly on top of a railway viaduct with wildflower meadows and woodland. The Coombe Brook flows under one of the railway arches. The site is open to the public at all times and admission is free.
There are no public toilets. The nearest public toilet is at Eastville Park. There are fairly steep steps leading up to the embankment, which makes the site unsuitable for wheelchairs.
