Bristol is home to a wide range of fantastic independent eateries, and the tBFT team's expert guides are excited to guide you through Bristol's vibrant streets, stopping to sample and share the best of what they have to offer.
tBFT believes that going on a food tour is one of the best ways to get a real sense for the culture of a city - especially such an exciting and ever expanding foodie city like Bristol. And they love showing off the best of what our city has to offer to locals and visitors alike!
Many restaurants, cafes and producers are passionate about using ethical, seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients, and work tirelessly to offer some incredible food.
tBFT provides a totally unique opportunity to experience Bristol’s best independent businesses, tell their stories, and share historical and cultural information along the way. They will take you on a culinary adventure that will leave you full of inspiration, knowledge and, most importantly, delicious food!
The tours visit several different venues over the course of about three hours, either stopping by to take away a tasty treat or sitting in to rest your feet. And they love to celebrate independent producers from all over Bristol - so expect a quick pit stop for a taste of something special.
tBFT's friendly, laid back and personal tours include insider information about our culinary stop-offs, cultural and historic tidbits about the local area, and lots of different and mouthwatering foods from a host of places over about three hours.
They can organise bespoke private group tours, too, and can accommodate most dietary requirements.
tBFT currently hosts a range of distinct tours showcasing and celebrating our favourite independent food venues in different parts of the city, in addition to organising private and bespoke tours for parties and corporate events.
The Stokes Croft Tour route is a true celebration of our favourite independents in Bristol and currently takes place down Cheltenham Road and through the bustling hub of Stokes Croft.
The South of the River Tour also features a range of excellent independents in Bristol, and includes stop-offs in the new Wapping Wharf development and explores some great food and drink venues South of the River in Southville.
The East to West Tour visits the Old market area, and the city centre. They'll lead you through St Nicholas Market and take you to some off beat choices in the heart of Bristol for a scrummy variety of foods.
Everyone at tBFT love Bristol’s food culture - reckoning it's one of the best in the country - and they're excited to share with you their favourite places to eat!
