From the people who brought you Wallace & Gromit, Chicken Run and Shaun the Sheep comes an adventure one million years in the making…
Set at the dawn of time, when prehistoric creatures roamed the earth, Early Man tells the story of plucky caveman Dug who, along with his sidekick Hognob, unites his tribe against the mighty Bronze Age in a battle to beat them at their own game – football.
Developed with Aardman, this exhibition will take you behind the scenes to show you the making of a mammoth movie.
You’ll see the incredible creative skill behind stop motion animation: from drawings which create an imaginary world and extraordinarily crafted sets to tiny exquisite character models and the latest CGI technology.
Aardman is a world famous, four times Academy Award winning studio based in Bristol. Early Man was released in 2018 starring Eddie Redmayne, Tom Hiddleston and Maisie Williams.
