Aliens of the Art World is an out of this world exhibition curated by queer artists.
Centrespace Gallery is on a mission to create our own home planet, our own galaxy, our own new constellations crammed into one room.
All work on exhibition is inspired by the intergalactic, the outer space & the alien lifeform. Looking at the themes of navigating queer reality and personal experience.
Sixteen artist are exhibiting work, each using a different medium to respond to the queer universe. Expect to see larger than life props, installations wall to wall, a constellation of illustrations & paintings, costumes, poetry, photography & performance art.
You're invited to an exhibition like no other. Head to the opening night to see two performance pieces alongside a first look at all the work. There will also be free drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to those who make it to the bar in time!
