Visit Aerospace Bristol this Bank Holiday weekend for an exciting programme of events, including Fly Through History tours, Spotlight Talks, and a special Concorde nose droop.

Saturday 24th August
Fly through history tours - kids go free! 

11.00am & 2.00pm
Visit on Saturday 24th August and take off on a journey through Bristol's illustrious aerospace history. From the earliest pioneers of aviation, through two World Wars, the space race, and on to the iconic Concorde, before you step aboard the supersonic jet.
Kids go free! Tours last approximately one hour and are available to purchase on the day for only £5 per person, but kids can join the tour for free*! Spaces are limited so arrive early, together with a valid museum ticket, to secure your place.

Sunday 25th August
Storytime & Spotlight talks

11.00am - 2.00pm
Uncover fascinating stories behind a selection of exhibits with special Spotlight Talks this Bank Holiday Sunday. Discover more about the Bristol Brabazon, the ingenuity behind Concorde’s Nose and the important role of Filton in the history of aviation.  Talks are free to join as part of your admissions ticket.

14.00: Chevaline Nuclear Warhead

For younger visitors there will be a special story time session at 1.15pm, free to join with a valid admission ticket. It's the perfect activity for under-5s to enjoy this Bank Holiday Sunday.

Monday 26th August
See Concorde's Nose Droop

Join Aerospace this Bank Holiday Monday for a very special operation of  the Concorde droop nose at 1pm. Concorde's droop nose was designed to give pilots better visibility during takeoff and landing, and you could be here to see it, free for you to watch as part of your museum admission.  Watch this special event and then enjoy a Spotlight Talk and learn all about this incredible piece of engineering. There will be a number of Spotlight Talks throughout the day - all free to join with a valid museum ticket:

12.00: Bristol Bloodhound Missile

13:15: Concorde’s Nose

14.00: Bristol Beaufighter

Fun daily activities under Concorde
