On this trip you set sail from Bristol Temple Meads Landing, directly next to Brunel's first tunnelbridges that took the first trains from Bristol to London. From there you set sail past the magnificent ss Great Britain and towards the historic lock gates, where Brunel's Other Bridge is laid to rest. After you lock out of the harbour, you will sail under his famous Clifton Suspension Bridge via the Avon Gorge, and return to the Bristol Floating Harbour.
You can have the option of disembarking at the ss Great Britain to visit and return to Temple Meads later with our regular Ferry service, or staying on until our initial point of departure.
Location: the pickup location is the Temple Quay.
Duration: 2.75 hours
What to bring: Warm clothes as even on a sunny day there can be a cool river breeze.
Wheelchair access: please note, this trip picks up at Temple Quay, if you have a wheelchair in your party and are unable to get out of your chair please give them a call in the office and they will organise a more appropriate pick up location for you!
