The flagship event of Scare Season in Bristol has to be FEAR at Avon Valley Scream Park, where you can enjoy #ABloodyGoodNight in their award-winning scare mazes, scream on the funfair rides and watch their fire show.

You can also see a spookier side of local attractions with Halloween activities at Wookey Hole, Bristol Zoo Project, Brunel's SS Great Britain, Bristol Aquarium and the Grand Pier in Weston-super-Mare.

See if you can survive the zombie outbreak at Mendip Activity Centre by taking part in Halloween-themed archery, axe throwing, air rifle shooting and more.

If you're looking for some tamer Halloween activities, go pumpkin picking at Avon Valley or explore some beautiful autumn trails at Noah's Ark Farm, Tyntesfield, Dyrham Park or Bowood House & Gardens.

Learn about the more grisly side of Bristol on a Blood, Blackbeard and Buccaneers tour of the harbour, or  head south of the river for the Blood and Butchery tour in Bedminster.

Watch classic horror and ghost films at iconic venues across Bristol throughout Halloween season, or take a look at the Halloween-themed half-term activities in the city.

There are also several ghoulish theatre shows and performances over the coming weeks, from the improvised Murder, She Didn't Fright at Bristol Improv Theatre or their Halloween Game Night, to A Midsummer Night's SCREAM! at St Werburgh's City Farm.
