Led by a Bristol graffiti artist, this workshop will give you an introduction to graffiti history, styles and techniques.
They will start with a guided tour of some of Bristol’s famous street art, to give you some background and inspiration, ending at the Station, part of the Bridewell Island complex where grafffiti writers were once banged up for their crimes!
There you will learn some hands-on skills; you will design a graffiti name, create a small board using paint markers, and try your hand at spray-painting and stenciling on large boards and canvases.
All materials are provided, and you will have two pieces to take away with you.
No previous experience is required. Minimum age 16 (mature young people aged 14+ permitted when accompanied by a responsible adult).
