Iron Island at Brunel's SS Great Britain

About
This summer, the iron ship floats again as Limbic Cinema bring the sea back to the SS Great Britain.
This is a truly immersive story of the ship's life at sea. Working with poet Saili Katebe and composer Joe Acheson, Limbic Cinema will transform the dry dock where the ship now lies into a huge digital projection theatre, filled with the energy of the world's underwater oceans. For the first time in fifty years the sights, sounds and movement of a living sea will surround the ship's hull.
Dive down to discover a moving experience of global migration, elemental power and true resilience.
SS Great Britain would like to thank the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Lottery Players for supporting this programme.
