Lunar New Year Festival: Year of the Ox with Bristol Museum & Art Gallery


Celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Ox with this interactive online festival.

The occasion will be marked with music, dance, talks, craft activities, storytelling, Chinese meditation, Chinese yoga, a panel discussion on being East Asian and South East Asian in the UK, and lots more. Look out for messages from the Mayor of Bristol and friends in China!

Lunar New Year is also known as the Spring Festival or Chinese New Year. The Year of the Ox starts on 12 February and ends on 30 January 2022.

According to the Chinese Zodiac people born in a year of the Ox are honest, trustworthy, diligent, dependable, strong and determined.
