On Thursday 18 July, legendary British band New Order will take centre stage on the Lloyds Ampitheatre to lead Bristol into the biggest weekend of the summer, the Bristol Harbour Festival which takes place on 19 – 21 July.
The outdoor concerts form part of the Colston Hall Presents programme, which sees Bristol’s foremost concert venue programming in the city’s independent venues and unique spaces while Colston Hall undergoes its £48.8 million transformation.
New Order formed in 1980 by Bernard Sumner, Peter Hook, Stephen Morris and Gillian Gilbert, from the ashes of the legendary band Joy Division. Their integration of British post-punk with electronic dance music made them one of the most critically acclaimed and publicly loved bands of the era.
