About
Bristol will host the Stage Three of the Tour of Britain on Tuesday 4 September.
The route features a short, sharp, out-and-back leg into the North Somerset hills, including the climb of Cheddar Gorge, up the Portway and Valley Bridge Road.
The stage will finish on Clifton Down, following a 125km circular route.
The race’s last visit to the city came in 2016, during which Grand Tour victor Tom Dumoulin and Rohan Dennis claimed wins during a split time trial/road race stage.
