Pensford's Nativity Trail

About
Locals and guests will be joining again this year in what seems to be becoming a village tradition. Pensford's Nativity Trail is laid out to offer an epic journey in a beautiful atmospheric, featuring the amazing work of artist Paul Baxter. The realistic, life-size figures are sure to fill all the visitors with awe, especially as they have been crafted around the face casts of Pensford's locals.
People are encouraged to come prepared with torches and suitable footwear for this unique adventure, which starts at the Old Lockup, walking up to the Viaduct and ending in the Pensford Church tower, where Mary is depicted laying with baby Jesus, while Joseph is guarding for them.
The trail will open on the 1st December, and then from dusk until 9pm each weekend throughout December, including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Maps will be available for all the visitors, who will then be welcome with mulled wine in the Pensford Church Rooms at the end of their quest.
