Song Writing Course for 11-16 year olds at Creative Youth Network
About
This course is all about experimenting with your voice and song writing in a creative way, having fun, and learning something new to make you feel inspired.
Taking inspiration from the musical artists you love and the world around you, you will be learning how to develop lyrics and melodies and finding your artistic voice. Whether you are into rap, singing, spoken word, playing an instrument or just want to try a hand at writing with no performance side then why not give it a go?
At the end of term there will be a showcase of the songs you have produced alongside the work from the other Creative Courses.
There's no previous music experience needed to participate in this course, but if you play an instrument then you're welcome to bring it along.
