The Calmer Llama trail in Bristol Shopping Quarter

Broadmead, The Arcade, The Galleries & Cabot Circus, Bristol
The Calmer Llama trail in Bristol Shopping Quarter

The Calmer Llama Trail will run in Bristol Shopping Quarter from Saturday 6 April until Easter Monday (22 April).

For the eighth year running the Broadmead BID team are working in partnership with The Ark Bus and The New Room to create a very special Easter trail, this time featuring 52 Calmer Llamas!

The event follows the success of 2018’s Flamboyant Flamingo Fiesta, which saw record numbers of children and families searching for the wonderfully decorated birds around Broadmead, The Arcade, The Galleries, and Cabot Circus. Previous Easter trails have featured camels, lions, zebras and elephants.

Schools and youth groups across Bristol will be decorating the Calmer Llamas during March. They will then be distributed to retailers at the beginning of April and on display in shops and cafes from Saturday 6 to Monday 22 April.

Maps showing their locations will be available from The New Room/John Wesley’s Chapel  in Broadmead, Specsavers on Merchant Street, Barber Browns on Bond Street, and from the information desk in Cabot Circus.

Additional events
In addition to the 52 llamas,  extra activities will run at The New Room throughout the Easter holiday plus a ‘Calmer Llama celebration week,’ when all the llamas will be displayed in The New Room for one week. Details of these events will follow.
