About
Ellie Coates is an artist and illustrator. Since the start of the pandemic Ellie has worked in the Health and Social Care sector and is currently working as an Autism Independent Support Practitioner supporting an individual with autism and mental health disabilities.
Ellie draws on her love of pattern, colour and design in paintings that attempt to dip into the complexities and often overwhelming challenges that neuroatypical individuals face in world set up for the neurotypical majority.
