Bristol Fringe Community Commission

What is the Bristol Fringe Community Commission?

The Bristol Fringe Community Commission is an opportunity for three locally-based artists and community partners to work together in response to the British Art Show 10 themes.

Each selected artist will work with a community partner (designated by the British Art Show 10 Bristol Partners in advance). Each artist will respond to an artist brief which will encourage artists to engage and respond to the needs and context of a specific location or dispersed community.

Each selected artist or organisation will receive a total budget of £10,000 exc. VAT to cover all project costs including artist fee and production.
